Luther Classical College Announces New Scholarship Opportunities

LCC is pleased to announce new scholarships for incoming students. A limited number of these scholarships are available to qualifying students who apply by March 1. Recipients will be selected on the combined basis of standardized test scores, application essays, application interviews, pastoral references, and financial need. All applicants are automatically screened for eligibility upon admission.

Finalists may be contacted by an LCC representative for an additional essay or interview to complete the selection process.

The Stipendium Hieronymi is an additional piece of financial aid that, when combined with other scholarships, lowers net tuition to 50% of the base cost.

The Stipendium Augustini is an additional piece of financial aid that lowers net tuition to 25% of the base tuition.

The Stipendium Summum Lutheri is the highest award given to incoming students at LCC. All tuition not covered by other scholarships will be paid by the Luther Stipend.

These awards, which will be announced on April 15, are guaranteed for the first two semesters of studies at Luther Classical College and will be re-assessed each academic year.

Students can apply to LCC by visiting lutherclassical.org/apply/.

These new scholarships are offered in conjunction with our existing and growing list of internal scholarships. One of the best ways that churches can help their young men and women afford college at LCC is by joining the “Supporting Congregation” program. A gift of at least $2,500 will result in a 5% tuition scholarship for members of the congregation, and an annual gift of $5,000 will result in an automatic 10% tuition reduction for members of the congregation.

More information on the Supporting Congregations program can be found at lutherclassical.org/congregation-give/ or by emailing Rev. Jacob Benson, Chief Advancement and Admissions Officer at jacob.benson@lutherclassical.org.
