LCC Hosts CUS Team for Cordial Visit

Luther Classical College (LCC) was pleased to host members of the Concordia University System (CUS) leadership for a cordial visit on October 28, 2025. The visit was part of the ongoing conversation between LCC and CUS regarding how LCC may fit within the ecclesiastical structure of Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). “It is good for brothers to dwell in unity, and we are grateful to the CUS team for traveling to Casper to experience how LCC is serving the Lord’s Church,” summarized Rev. Joshua Hayes, interim president and dean of chapel.

Classes have been in session for over two months at LCC, and students and faculty alike are beginning to appreciate the rhythms of college life. “I believe the CUS team was able to see how we are faithfully living out our mission as a Lutheran college,” remarked Rev. John Hill, LCC regent and president of the Wyoming District—LCMS. “Matins and vespers bookend classes each day at LCC, and we are glad that they were able to join us for chapel.”

LCC’s inaugural student class is thriving within and without the classroom just over halfway through their first semester. To join them at the college, connect with LCC admissions at lutherclassical.org/pre-admission
